OJSC International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) is seeking Data governance lead for Information Technology Department.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain policies and standards for end-to-end data governance
• Define data governance operational processes (e.g., data quality measurement) in accordance with policies and standards, clearly articulating roles and responsibilities
• Monitor and measure compliance to standards and processes
• Support data domain working sessions by setting the agenda and preparing supporting documents
• Solve cross-BU governance issues and escalate as needed
• Create, manage and facilitate a Data Policy Governance process to identify and understand the critical data issues and ensure data policy enforcement and compliance
• Ensure governance mechanisms are in place to monitor and control access to data
• Conduct training sessions with the data stewards on the policy, standards and processes
• Coordinate with Data Stewards for each domain to achieve defined goals within group data management
• Support Data with communication of key governance priorities and successes across the enterprise as needed

Technical Requirements:

• Strong leadership experience in an enterprise or cross-functional role
• Strong interpersonal and communication/persuasion skills
• Strong project management leadership
• Experience in performance management metrics
• Proven ability to coordinate cross functional teams of business, IT and other key stakeholders

Required experience:

• 7+ years of experience with data governance standards and practices, and leading Data Governance programs
• 5+ years in management/executive role
