Who are we looking for

As a Business Valuation Manager in our Deals practice within Advisory Line of Services, you will have the opportunity to develop your career and contribute to the shape of our future business, working with our top-tier clients.
You will be working with a particular focus on business valuation and financial modelling reporting directly to the Partner of the LoS.

About the role

You will be responsible for the execution and delivery of work across various engagements. You will:

• Independently perform valuation of public and private companies by utilising DCF, market comparable  and cost approaches 
• Conduct market and industry researches, and provide necessary inputs for feasibility studies and business plans 
• Assume a leadership role in report generation and detailed financial modelling
• Maintain and develop positive, productive, and professional relationships with clients
• Identify new business development opportunities and assist Partners on proposals to clients
• Supervise, develop and mentor professionals at the junior and Senior level

Requirements

• University Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Sciences or Engineering
• One of the following professional qualifications or studying toward it is an advantage: CFA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, DipIFR, ASA
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in business valuation and financial modelling obtained in Big 4, Investment Banks, corporate finance and private equity area of specialization
• Comprehensive knowledge of valuation theory and demonstrated solid practical experience in the field
• Experience in project workflow management and project team management
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of complex spreadsheet business modelling, report writing, editing reports and preparation of electronic presentations using MS Applications
• Fluent in Azerbaijani and English (both oral and written), Russian is an advantage. 
• Proven project management/people management skills
• Ability to operate in multitask environment
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to manage tough deadlines
• Business writing skill
