PASHA Insurance OJSC is currently seeking for " Head of Investment Management Service"

Key responsibilities:

• Analyzing potential investment opportunities, new financial instruments, maximization of investment income and solve for portfolio gaps, and then reduce their risks;
• Conducting periodic analysis of the investment portfolio and informing management about the results of the analysis;
• Tracking cash flows, receivables and payables, identify the currency risks that the company may face and taking risk prevention measures;
• Control over expected payments (insurance, reinsurance, administrative expenses) to prevent liquidity risks and identifying potential liquidity needs and surpluses, take the necessary measures;
• Collection of information, reports and conducting financial analysis to identify potential credit risks;
• Preparation of reports and presentations about investment management service activities, execution of the investment budget, new investment opportunities and results of analysis of existing investments;
• Control over accurate and complete reflection of information reflecting investment activities in software tools;
• Control over timely and correct repayment of receivables on interest income and existing funds in banks to increase the efficiency of the use of funds, carrying out work to maximize investment income;
• Control over the drawing up and signing of contracts related to investment activities without delay in accordance with investment decisions and the interests of the Company;
• Control over the company's investment portfolio, analyzing underwriting on banks and investment income, take initiatives to increase profitability;
• Carrying out work in the direction of improving, development of rules and procedures by direction of activity;
• Participation in the formation of the systematic analysis and reporting system related to investment activities; make new proposals on asset and liability management;
• Take initiatives on investment opportunities by analyzing new financial instruments;
• Perform other tasks given directly by the supervisor (financial analysis, collection of various data, etc.)

Required skills:

• Higher education in finance, accounting or economics;
• Theoretical knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and rules, international financial management and economic principles;
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in related field;
• Fluent in Russian, Azerbaijan and English (written and verbal);
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
