AccessBank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) continue their strategic partnership under the Risk Sharing Facility aimed at supporting the development of private entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan.
As part of the next phase of cooperation, financial support has been extended to Pizza Mizza. Under the agreement, the company will receive a EUR 4 million loan to expand its business and strengthen its market position.
The document was signed by Davit Tsiklauri, Chairman of the Management Board of AccessBank; Zsuzsanna Hargitai, Managing Director of the EBRD’s SME Finance and Development Group; and Aslan Hajiyev, CEO of Pizza Mizza.
The Risk Sharing Facility provides for equal participation of the parties in financing projects. This mechanism enables the Bank to more actively support fast-growing companies, reduce credit risks, and ensure sustainable financing.
Risk sharing is considered an effective tool for stimulating private sector development. Under the program, businesses gain access to long-term financial resources needed to scale operations, implement innovative solutions, and create new jobs.
AccessBank and the EBRD view the further expansion of this cooperation as an important step toward strengthening the financial resilience of the country’s entrepreneurial environment.
