Unibank gets a positive assessment | Banco.az

The international rating agency Moody's Investors Service has once again affirmed the rating of Unibank OJSC as ‘positive’ and its rating support as ‘B2’.

The Director of Finance of Unibank Emin Rasulzade says that this rating action by Moody’s reaffirms the high readiness of the bank for the macro-economic challenges coming from the market. ‘A sound capitalisation and the high quality of risk management are the reasons standing behind the stability of the bank,’ Emin Rasulzade added.

Moody’s affirmed the rating of the long-term liabilities of Unibank OJSC as ‘B2’; the financial stability rating is ‘E+’. In the opinion of the experts of Moody's, the stable financial performance combined with the high growth of collateral-free consumer lending and the activity ebb of the retail customers made Unibank one of the biggest banks in Azerbaijan.

The Moody’s experts confirm that whatever possible upwardly rating movement is dependent on the stable growth of the financial indicators in the future.
