Project "Educate women for family welfare” in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic

01st March 2022 took place official launching ceremony of the project "Educate women for family welfare". The project funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation will be  implemented by  Azerbaijan Micro-finance Association (AMFA) with the support of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (SCFWCA).

The aim of the project is to create self-employment opportunities for 60 low-income women living in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, including women with disabilities, by providing them with the necessary knowledge and seed capital.

To achieve the project goal AMFA will conduct "Plan Your Future!" Financial Education trainings, “Be Entrepreneur!” Business Planning trainings and will provide women with successful business plans with the seed capital.  Low-income women from Nakhchivan city, Babek, Julfa, Ordubad, Kengerli, Sharur, Sadarak and Shahbuz regions with the attractive business ideas will be involved to the project with the support of Nakhchivan AR SCFWCA.

The project will be completed by end of December 2022.
