The next project of the Tourism Lab Azerbaijan Tourism Forum Gabala Meeting was held on April 20. The event was held at the Gabala Congress Hall named after Heydar Aliyev in Gabala.

At the Azerbaijan Tourism Forum - Gabala Meeting with the sponsorship of "Gilan Hospitality Group”, "Qafqaz Hotels & Resort”, "Gabala Congress Hall named after Heydar Aliyev" and "Mondo Travel" 250 tourism professionals have been participated.  The purpose of the event was to introduce the tourism opportunities of the country, future perspectives, modern technological innovations into the development of the country’s tourism, discuss legislation and its issues and the challenges that each tourism related company face.
The presentation of the newly established Tourism Laboratory (Tourism Lab.) was introduced during the event. The opening speech of the head of "Tourism Lab" company Havva Safarov said that "The purpose of the company is "Creating The Culture of Tourism İnnovation” in Azerbaijan. In this regard, we are open to ideas related to all tourism and are ready to do our best in their development. Also, Tourism Lab.’s other projects: "Azerbaijan Hospitality Academy" (AHA), "Tourism Students MeetUp","Superkids Summer Camp" was introduced. Havva Safarova presented another surprise project during the event: "We are pleased to present you our "Azerbaijan Tourism Awards", our surprise project. At this great event, which will take place at the end of the year, tourism companies, hotels, restaurants, and even hospitality people will be rewarded in Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Tourism Forum has been organized for four years, bringing together its specialists and playing a key role in the discussion of problems in the tourism sector. All of these activities, by highlighting the best examples of national tourism, are the search for different ways for tourism development and solutions. The Forum is the first and only platform in Azerbaijan that is open to anyone interested not only in the tourism industry, but also in different industries and in creating a new business in tourism.
