Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) awarded its members and partners during "Banking Awards-2017" ceremony held on December 21.

State-owned Azer Turk Bank has been awarded in two nominations at the ceremony.

The event was attended by representatives of the top management of the commercial banks, representative offices of international financial institutions in Azerbaijan, leaders of expert groups under the ABA, media partners and others.

Speaking at the event, Zakir Nuriyev, President of Azerbaijan Banks Association, noted that in 2017 local banks realized various corporate projects in the field of corporate social responsibility, support of education and financial literacy. Mr. Nuriyev thanked all ABA members for their active support of these events and everyone who supports the activity of association.

 ABA evaluated realized projects and identified the most active banks.

 Azer Turk Bank won in two nominations – "Corporate social responsibility" and "The most active support of financial literacy" due to the large number of projects, supported and organized by the Bank in 2017.

State-owned Azer Turk Bank is an active participant of corporate social responsibility projects. As a pioneer in its sphere, Azer Turk Bank aims to become an example for local companies as active promoter of corporate social responsibility projects. The Bank also support the youth in getting knowledge and practical skills, encouraging future personal development.
