The largest corporate bank of Azerbaijan Pasha Bank is looking for hardworking candidates to join our team as a Senior Specialist of Budgeting & Planning division of Budgeting & Management Reporting department.

Responsible for management of regular budgeting and planning process ensuring effective collaboration with other departments for consistent and efficient process of budget and plans preparation.

Scope of position

• Managing the financial planning and budgeting processes
• Analysis of target process maps for strategic planning and budgeting
• Development of responsibility matrix with clear segregation of functions between departments
• Implement  operational data collection, processing and consolidation of the evidence necessary for budgetary control
• Monitoring and analysis of the performance of the financial plan of the bank, a timely review and adjustment of the budget
• Organization phased budgeting process, by defining responsibility centers , slotting, the system of internal regulations
• Monitoring cost control function
• Management of regular budgeting process, ensuring that regular budgeting process is completed within timelines
• Process  consolidation of separate budgets into a single consolidated budget
• Preparing the reports accurately and within the agreed deadlines
• Monitoring the status of execution of general business plan
• Ensuring effective communication with business units in terms of planning

Required qualifications & skills:

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, Banking or relevant field
• Knowledge of Ratio and Data Analysis; VBA  and Tech savvy
• Preferable Certificates in ACCA/CIMA; IFRS knowledge (main principles)
• Understanding of control activities and risks
• Process improvement experience
• Strong self-discipline and deadline culture
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English is a must
