“PASHA Bank” OJSC is  seeking  an  SME Credit Risk Underwriter for Credit Risk Underwriting Department.

ABOUT PASHA BANK

PASHA Bank was established in 2007, is a leading corporate bank in Azerbaijan. We have investment banking, trade finance, basic financial services, including asset management, as well as offer a comprehensive set of services for small and medium enterprises. The Bank's main areas of non-oil sector of the economy - agribusiness, transportation, construction, trade and other areas of the economy that contribute to the diversity of services.

MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess the credit worthiness of SME borrowers using a SME Scoring Models  (SME's - loan size 50K - 500K)      
• Improve SME underwriting scoring/rating models and processes, providing advice and guidance to business units on credit risk related issues  
• Provide independent opinion for SME loan cases (non scoring based) 
• Calculation of customers’ credit ratings in accordance with internal methodology
• Develop excel based stress testing models and carry testing of SME customers in portfolio        
• Undertake customer visits where necessary and applicable

AGE: 21-35

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Minimal level of relevant experience: 1-3 years

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree 
• Education directions: BA, MSc, MBA, Finance, Accounting
• International certificates: CFA (preferred Level 1)

SKILLS

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Azerbaijani, English, Russian
• Frequent coordination and/or team problem solving with other structural units for work production or service quality
• Independent judgment is required to review and analyse all types of loan applications
