OJSC International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) is seeking Mobile Developer-Android and iOS for its Digital Innovation Lab

It offers private and corporate customer current accounts, savings accounts, deposits, investment savings products, custody, credit and debit cards, consumer loans and mortgages, direct debit facilities, overdrafts, loan and other credit facilities, and foreign currency and derivative products. The bank enjoys a unique position in the history of its nation: the institution has played a key role in bringing the country of Azerbaijan, a “new” country with an ancient heritage and culture, into the 21st century’s global economy.

Responsibilities

• Produce fully functional mobile applications by writing clean code
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Cooperate with UI/UX designers to improve user experience
• Cooperate with product development team to plan new features
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
• Research and suggest new innovative solutions
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends

Required technical and professional expertise

• Proven work experience as a mobile developer
• In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language like Swift and Java
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Familiarity with OOP design principles
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines (for iOS applicants)
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines (for Android applicants)
• Ability to test and maintain code for high quality products

Preferred technical and professional experience

• BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript
• Proficient understanding of at least one of the version control systems such as SVN and GIT
• Experience with React Native is highly preferred
