Pasha Bank is looking for candidates to join our team as Internal Control Specialist in Legal & Compliance department.

Responsible for legal support of the Bank’s structural units activity.

Scope of position

• Conducting post-factum checks of procurement transactions 
• Re-checking financial prove of expenses provided by employees 
• Tracking daily transactions in Bank within the area of competence 
• Developing recommendations on appropriate action for identified suspicious transactions in bank
• Coordination of measures for combatting internal fraud, conducting fraud assessments, ensure the minimum possibilities exist in the Bank for fraudulent operations execution
• Review existing controls in place and make any necessary revisions or additions
• Undertaking internal controls to ensure the company meets its financial, operational and compliance objectives
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
• Reporting on control deficiencies to management and making recommendations to mitigate risk and add value
• Playing an active role in the maintenance and review of policies and procedures, including ensuring they are up to date with all legislation and best practices
• Engaging to continuous knowledge development regarding rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
• Other duties arising from current workflow

Required qualifications & skills:

• Work experience in relevant field at least 1-3 years
• Knowledge of MS office (Word, Power Point, Excel)
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English  
• Good written and verbal communication skills ;
• Strong self-discipline and deadline culture;
• Proactive, determined, with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
• Sound independent judgement
• Understanding of the current regulatory environment and relevant rules and regulations, including: Banking regulations, Central Bank instructions and rules, Labour code, Civil code, Tax code & etc.
• CIA is advantage
