Database Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, design and implement advanced SQL queries to improve operating efficiencies, reduce costs and meet the business needs.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models.
• Collaborate with applications developers on data modeling and ER diagrams
• Design advanced SQL queries and database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and cursors.
• Create, maintain, modify, troubleshoot and optimize SQL Server database queries.
• Must demonstrate extensive SQL query writing skills to support critical business needs.
• Assist end-users with reporting needs using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Responsible for ETL, data conversion and data migration projects using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

Requirements:

• Experience designing and implementing new databases in SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2014, 2016 and a broad understanding of relational databases.
• Experience writing advanced SQL queries, analyzing and optimizing queries and stored procedures, SSIS packages and SSRS reports
• Excellent troubleshooting and TSQL optimization skills
• Previous experience with .NET, PowerBI, Datawarehouse, Multi-Dimensional data, and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and cubes is a plus.
• Must be a self-initiative, highly motivated, organized, and self-disciplined with the ability to organize time and work efficiently
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline
• Relevant certification is preferred
• Fluency in Russian or English is an advantage
