The largest corporate bank of Azerbaijan Pasha Bank is looking for hardworking candidates to join our team as Credit Risk Underwriter (Specialist).

Scope of position

• Cash Flow Analysis and borrower’s financials projection for loan repayment
• Develop/Challenge financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
• Financial modeling for Project appraisal (NPV, IRR)
• Rating credit risk of company. Using credit rating models and other expert systems to assign ratings and support internal analysis
• Examine historical financial data and credit history case by case (loan applications, BS&IS&CF statements, legal documents etc.)
• Carefully summarize borrower’s data and produce clear and objective risk opinion
• Perform the analysis of the client’s financial position and future loan repayment capacity, calculation of clients’ credit ratings and making appropriate decision.  
• Responsible for decision making in line with internal guidelines and methodology   

Required qualifications & skills:

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, Banking or relevant field
• Corporate finance and/or financial accounting background
• Previous working experience as financial or credit analyst/accountant relevant field is must
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Fluency in Azerbaijani is a must
• Advanced in English (or Russian)
• IFRS 9 credit loss (impairment) modeling knowledge is preferred
• Preferable Certificates in Finance Modeling, CFA or ACCA.
