Job Description  Requirements:

•    Law degree in Azerbaijani law (bachelor’s degree a must, master’s degree an advantage)

•    Law degree from foreign university an advantage

•    Minimum of 8 years’ working experience practicing Azerbaijani law

•    Profound knowledge of Azerbaijani and English language (including legal writing skills). Other foreign languages an advantage

•    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.

Job description:

•     Analysis of legislation and advising on various matters from Azerbaijani law standpoint;

•     Preparation of legal memorandums, opinions, letters;

•     Preparation of letters/applications to state bodies/agencies;

•     Preparation of e-mail notes regarding various legislative queries;

•     Advising on legal structuring options for companies, holdings

•     Legal assistance during M&A transactions;

•     Performance of legal due diligence;

•     Preparation of legislative updates/alerts;

•     Performance of corporate registration and de-registration exercises;

•     Representation before various state bodies, including notaries.
