OJSC International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) is seeking Data and Reporting Analyst for Information Technology Department.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, examine data sets with the aid of specialized systems or software product in order to draw conclusions about the information they contain and use this trends in data warehouse structuring
• Work with business to determine requirements for developing new reporting solutions
• Manage, standardize and improve the company’s reporting solution by examining existing reports, determining origin and characteristics, documenting and presenting suggestions for improvement and implementing approved suggestions
• Interpret data analyzing results using statistical techniques
• Provide ongoing reports to the Management
• Collaborate with business partners to identify trends and appropriate actions to sustain and improve performance
• Enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytical systems

Technical Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of main principles of Bank systems;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency level in SQL

Required experience and other skills

• 3+ years’ experience in the related field
• Simplified Technical English (to be able to understand technical documentation in English if needed)

• Good communicational skills in Azeri (proficiency in Russian is an asset)
• Understanding of agile methodologies and experience on a cross-functional agile team (preferable)
• Strong analytical skills
• Good team player
