Who we are looking for
Deals are looking for a Senior Consultant to join the Financial Due Diligence team based in Baku.
A successful candidate will focus on Financial Due Diligence assignments, but may also have an opportunity to work on a variety of deals assignments both in Azerbaijan and internationally, including M&A, Valuation, Commercial Due Diligence, Forensic, Business Recovery, etc.
About the role
The role will enable the individual to:
Build up investigative and deal experience
Improve analytical skills
Gain insight into what makes a successful deal including identifying key value drivers and deal breakers
Understanding the processes in due diligence work including dealing with risk
Build a career in Deals
Develop their existing deals experience to the deals environment
The role will provide the opportunity to work on both corporate and private equity transactions that will be high profile, demanding, varied and challenging.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual who has an excellent track record, is about to qualify (or recently qualified) in ACCA or CFA or equivalent, with previous commercial, client-facing work experience and is able to demonstrate the following personal attributes:
Not less than 3 years of transactions related experience
Higher education (Western universities preferable)
ACCA or CFA (or equivalent) qualified or significantly progressed
Knowledge of accounting
Fluent in Azeri, English and Russian (any other languages will be a plus)
Good business and report writing, Power Point and Excel skills
Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
Effective written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate with clearly with colleagues and clients at all levels
Strong client service mind-set and experience dealing with clients
Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence when interacting with others
Ability to be agile in changing circumstances both internally and externally when dealing with client issues and business needs
A team player with demonstrated strong analytical skills and organizational abilities including project management skills
Focused and initiative driven (required to maximize growth potential).
