Your role
 
As a Project Manager, your main responsibilities will involve:

• Handle strategic projects that contribute to the company’s success: identify opportunities for the organization to develop new products, troubleshoot problems or launch initiatives designed to reduce operational costs, defects or waste;
• Continiously reinforce customer satisfaction, beating the competition and analyzing market data through strategic communications;
• Efficiently support senior management to identify key steps and required action points to contribute into long term success and profitability of the organisation; 
• Effectively collaborate accross functions;
• Analyze existing project portfolio to ensure alignement of business decisions to key strategic milestones; 
• Evaluate project flow, publish reports and conduct review meetings to keep projects on track
• Develop project plan and budget based on business case for approval by relevant business sponsor(s) and Steering committee following Project Management best practice;
• Work as a liaison/facilitator among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems;
• Develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to ensure effective resources planning and allocation for project teams and efficient identification and tracking of interdependencies between work streams;
• Identify and highlight interdependencies between projects to ensure that potential project risks are mitigated;
• Liaise and negotiate with business users and IT team on project details to ensure alignment of project scope, resource requirements and project plan, and clear definition of project quality, risk, communication and change management plans;
• Define clear roles and responsibilities within project for team members (Business functions, IT, vendors, etc.) to ensure activities are allocated and executed by the appropriate team members and deliverables are of the appropriate quality;
• Perform project closure to ensure accurate closure of project cost accounts, storage of project files and post implementation reviews; 
• Oversee the implementation and the proper benefits tracking mechanism to ensure it is in place prior to project completion;
• Own the delivery of projects and conduct evaluation with justification to ensure timely project execution and high quality deliverables within budget.

Your Skills and Experience
 
As a Project Manager, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Educated to degree level, preferably in Business, Finance or related disciplines; Preferably holder of Project Management (PMI) and/or Strategic Management professional qualification;  
• Good knowledge in insurance business across product, sales/ customer support, distribution, operation and finance reporting;
• Strong change management skills and experience, with a proven track record of developing, implementing and maintaining business systems;
• Ability to lead a team of IT professionals and business analysts in different project development phases in both technical and business perspectives;
• Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to interface with the business;
• Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent inter-personal and negotiation skill set.
