“FINCA Azerbaijan” is looking for Product and Process Development Manager (PPDM) for its Head Office.

PPDM is responsible for development of new and revision of existing products, as well as for monitoring of product performances and reporting on this. PPDM is also responsible for regular evaluation of lending processes and proposing improvements. S/he is responsible to assist COO in rolling out new products and procesess.  PPDM is also involved in various projects within operations department.

Major Activities:

Collecting up to date information on the products profile of major competitors with the help of Marketing Department;

Collecting up to date information on the lending processes of major competitors with the help of Marketing Department;

Regular monitoring of the developments in the local banking and micro finance markets;

Determining needs for change and development of a loan products together with COO;

To test a product in real market conditions and gradually expand product supply/sale;

To promote participation, interest of whole organization at the initial stage and later for the entire product development process;

Participation in development of the product promotion campaign together with marketing department Assisting employees during adoption of loan products;

Determining through certain indicators the efficiency of loan products;

To track profitability of products together with finance department;

Determine needs for operational process improvements on a regular basis and lead the changes;

To ensure necessary trainings and incentives for personnel for the purpose of effective sale and distribution of a product;

Participation in other projects on operational activities;

To assist the COO in realization of new ideas.     

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Higher degree in economics. Preferably: master degree in finance, business or economics.

Extended work experience in middle and/or senior management positions in banks and/or MFIs.

Excellent knowledge in lending. Banking experience is appreciated.

Ability to develop and conduct trainings and presentations

Ability to manage branches and divisions of financial organizations.

Excellent report writing skills.

Good analytical and organizational skills.   

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills.

High computer literacy.

Fluency in Azeri. Fluency in one of Russian or English languages is required.
