Job brief

We are looking for a competent Help desk technician to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems. You will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them.
Provide user support and customer service on company-supported computer applications and platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
• Research questions using available information resources
• Advise user on appropriate action
• Follow standard help desk procedures
• Log all help desk interactions
• Administer help desk software
• Redirect problems to correct resource
• Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
• Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
• Prepare activity reports
• Inform management of recurring problems 
• Stay current with system information, changes and updates

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree
• Minimum 2 years experience
• To be strong in communications in English, Azerbaijani and Russian languages, written and verbal
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve Windows and MAC OS X hardware configuration, application Help Salem’s Service Desk incident tracking system.
• Perform local and remote phone and electronic support and incident response to various end users within an enterprise environment.
• Troubleshoot LAN Connectivity, Desktop applications and configurations, Windows All versions, MS Office All versions, other office softwares, VPN Connectivity, etc.
• Install and perform VOIP and POTS phone troubleshooting and configuration.
• Maintain Salem Corporate Desktop, Laptop and Peripheral Hardware and Software Inventory
• Excellent Communication skills including; written, verbal, and listening
• Proficiency with supporting software applications including Microsoft Office and other software
