Position: Finance Specialist   

Job Type Full-time

Required work experience: 1-3 years

Job Location: Azerbaijan/Baku

Education: Bachelor

Responsibilities

- Ensure the incoming materials are accounted for in line with the Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders;
- Ensure the transfer of materials from warehouse to the construction managers or contractors is properly documented, authorized and controlled;
- Ensure the write-off of materials is properly and timely documented and conducted;
- Performing month-end close responsibilities and financial reporting accurately as assigned and in compliance with internal controls; 
- Create and manage detailed spreadsheets of inventory data; 
- Documentation of policies and procedures related to warehouse management;
- Participation in physical inventories (prepare systems, assist counts, conduct reconciliation)
- Maintain and communicate internal control metrics relating to materials control;
- Standardize and streamline materials control process;
- Assist with additional Accounting and Finance related projects as needed.

Requirements

- Experience with inventory accounting and ERP system;
- Solid knowledge of Azerbaijan accounting standards and requirements;
- Attention to details and accuracy while maintaining a high level of organization and productivity;
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally on parts of the projects;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with senior internal and external personnel;
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills;
- Ability to work independently and take initiative;
