Accountant

Pasha Bank is looking for strong candidate to join our team as Accountant (Specialist) in Accounting & External Reporting department.

Responsible for coordination and execution of preparing internal and external financial reports accurately and delivering them within the agreed deadlines in accordance with National accounting standards and IFRS.

SCOPE OF POSITION:

- Coordination and execution of accounting (according to IFRS and local standards of accounting) for day-to-day business operations of the Bank
- Identifying and resolving internal customer questions and queries on day to day basis
- Development and implementation of Accounting Procedure under National Accounting Standards and IFRS
- Methodological support on accounting and tax issues, ensuring availability of appropriate advice to business units
- Coordination of accounting (according to IFRS and local standards of accounting) for day-to-day business operations of the Bank
- Control all payments to ensure that the Bank pays the right tax and claims the right amount of tax back and calculation of tax.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• 2 to 5 year work experience in relevant field
• Financial knowledge is required
• ACCA Certification
• IFRS knowledge
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• VBA knowledge is must
• Knowledge of SQL is preference
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English
• Strong team player with focus on ultimate value for the Bank IFRS 9 knowledge is must
• Accounting according to IFRS9 is must
• Accounting on securities/derivatives/Treasury operations is must
• Accounting and knowledge on National Accounting Standards and Tax is must
